my website is www.narutobuzz.com I was recently denied by Value Click Media, also I sent in an application with Canep Media but haven't recieve a response yet. The Denial from ValueClick is below. The problem is our forums are heavily moderated, we are so strict it hurts considering we have a responsibility to make our community suitable for all ages, I tried contacting Value clicks support email address to inform them this but I recieved no response from them, also they mention a chat room however we don't even have one, if they are reffer to our instant messenger which only allows users to send messages to other users on there friendlist then I honestly don't know. I am afraid Canep will deny us based on the same assumption, I have attempted reaching Canep but there email support and phone support aren't responsive. Any suggestions what I should do in this situation. Incase your wondering I also tried calling value click but I couldn't get there publishers support phone number, or rather the secretary gave me the wrong one twice so go figure. I had the same issue with my forum. Canep Media didn't reply as well not to my application nor to publisher support email.. they seems to have bad support team.
how long has it been since you were denied? When I contacted them it appeared like they simple had a 1800 number automatically set to voice mail. Most people mentioned they have great support but for right now I honestly don't know. I also tried calling at various times during the day so no one can tell me that they were simple on another line, also the 1800 number takes you directly to a voice mail prompt saying there is no one to take your call and to leave your contact info.
We would happily consider your application and respond within 1 working day... we have some good game/culture related offers too.
Our support team attempts to promptly replies to all support requests, unfortunatly some requests fall through the cracks. If you PM me with your problem or email me to I will personally take care of your problems. Also in regards to being denied 7 months ago, we were not accepting new applicants at that time, we are accepting new publishers now, if you reapply you will be considered. Also to calm any fears that you may had, we do not deny applications because the site allows users to submitt content as long as the content is moderated.
ValueClickMedia does not allow any uncontrollable pages even though you promised them that you will heavily moderated the forum/chat. Thou, you can try asking them if you can place their ads on pages that only admins can edit. Possibly the front page and others, it worked for 1 of my sites, but not sure if they still allow it.
I responded to the email you sent me, you filled out an advertiser application instead of a publisher application, this was probably the main source of confusion. As I wrote in the email you can apply to join our publisher network by filling out an application here: http://canepmedia.com/publisher_apply.html. CBT, your application to join our publisher network was indeed reviewed and declined, you were supposed to get an email with our decision, I have reissued the email. The reason your application was declines is not that you have a forum, but that your forum contains emulation threads that pertain to illegal activities such as the downloading of copyrighted material. Additionally the content of this forum is not available to the public without first registering, and we require that our ads be displayed only on publicly accessible pages. You are welcome to reapply with a different site, you will not be penalized in any way on future applications, each new site application is viewed as a clean slate. I invite you to join our network with a site that complies with all of our terms of use.
