Remember when John Edwards and John sKerry said that there were two america's? One for the evil rich republicans and one for the poor dems? Well it turns out that John Edwards now has a huge house (the largest and most expensive in his county)...his office refuses to comment. Link
Ha ha! That's almost as funny as Bush saying we need to cut back on our oil consumption. BTW- here's a link to that "Two Americas" speech: http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn/A22230-2004Jul28?language=printer
Thanks Rob, my favorite quote in that speech was this: "John (sKerry) is a man who knows the difference between right and wrong. He wants to serve you. Your cause is his cause. And that is why we must and we will elect him the next president of the United States." Thats why he voted for the war before voting against it.
They're both idiots, and apparently both hypocrites (wooo big secret). I find it humorous that the wealthy are automatically ASSUMED (in America) to be conservative, republican, and White. Throw in all of the available research on "profiling" and guess what? Don't listen to the hand-wringers. Be proud of your success. You've earned it. "Annoy A Liberal: Work Hard - Succeed - Be Happy."
So by criticising 'evil' rich poeple he lost his right to be rich? Wow, living in a black and white world must be cool
LOL me too. When the gas guzzling Texan and failed "Oil Baron" said that I laughed so much that a little bit of wee came out. I know he wasn't born in TX but he cut his teeth down there. Some peeps don't got a clue about that one though. http://www.ourmedia.org/node/202348
No. By judging people he knows nothing about, he placed himself directly in the path of the oncoming train. His perception of what is "evil" and what is not is simply an opinion, and his values and morals are not "transferable" to others. There's a big difference: If I criticize the wealthy for not contributing more to help the poor, then I'd damn well better practice what I preach. He's a hypocrite.
People are not stuck at the class they are in forever, they are free to move on up the income ladder and do move on up the income ladder according to this Increased taxation, government programs, and the like will only hamper the ability of the lower classes to move up and when the programs fail, politicians will not blame the faulty programs but instead they will blame "market failure" and move forward with increasing government power.
and how did George Bush make his money? http://www.cnn.com/ALLPOLITICS/stories/1999/05/13/president.2000/jackson.bush/ Off the backs of taxpayers and cronies sucking up to his dad the vice president. LOL!!!! Bush on taxes should restate his comments. Don't raise taxes.....unless they go directly into my pockets!
It sounds to me like the man is smart when it comes to money....just how many of you would also do the same thing if it meant you making a lot. My money is on all of us would do the same. And if you are going to bring up bush, be fair and bring up all of clinton's phony land and lawyer deals...
How is that being fair? Does that exonerate Bush or something? That's like when a kid gets in trouble and then says, "Well Jimmy did it too!" Never understood that logic.
That logic only applies when it comes to political stuff to me...it seems that people love to criticize all the republicans, but when a democrat is found with 100,000$ in his freezer, or even kills a woman because he was drunk and couldn't drive straight across a bridge, then its a different story.
Rob, I'm not looking to exonerate Bush...however, if you are going to bring up the republicans faults, then bring up the dems as well. thats all.
HA HA! Please remember that rule next time you start an anti-"Dem'" thread.* ha ha ha ha! *Which will most likely be later tonight or early tomorrow.
ha ha, nice...I only do it to combat the anti-bush threads And I don't have any good juice right now, Drudge is on the air, and therefore not updating his website...
