    Does anyone know the differences between those that search on MSN and those that search on google? Gender, tech savvy, age, ect.

    I would guess less tech savvy, as the majority of their traffic is from people using Internet Explorer (first non tech-savvy move) who are too stupid or lazy to change their default homepage.

    MSN Adcentre can provide you with keyword demographics in the keyword research.

    I work on the assumption that's likely to be a slightly older, substantially less tech-savvy audience. Oh, and the volumes are far lower too...

    A consumer engine (not as much research-related and slanted toward women.

    volume far lower, but it cost me 2$ in 3 days for 3 sales where as i spent 100$ between google and yahoo in the same 3 days and got 2 sales between the 2..

    msn = 13 clicks 3 sales
    google 880 clicks 1 sale
    yahoo 540 clicks 1 sale

    But yes, less tech savvy, older and less impressions and clicks, but my clicks have counted
