I wish they gave more power to conservatives in picking their candiates. That is definitely a reason why the repubs are failing.
I'm more concerned with keeping federalism alive, then keeping certain state programs afloat. That just means they have to take care of their own 'shit'. States want to behave like socialists....go ahead, but on your own. Want to be a small government state...then go ahead, you can. It just makes states more competitive, and the country more free.
