Finally, after finding 90k$ in his freezer (yes, he still proclaims innocence)...this man has been indicted. What for you may ask?

Can you believe the people of La actually re-elected this guy? And we wonder why there was all the problems with Katrina? People in La are idiots!

It is about time that they indicted that guy. :D

New Orleans is the land of grease, graft and corruption. He is just one part of the machine.

Story's O.K., but fellas, afraid this guy can't hold a candle to my favorite - burn 'em with cigarettes and piss in 'da wounds Mayuh, "Buddy Cianci."

    Buddy - the legend

My first day in Providence, I nearly get nailed by a driver while walking across the street. In my California indignation, I chased after the car and laid into the driver for having the effrontery to almost hit a pedestrian. The driver, apparently one of Providence's plain clothes "finest," flashes his badge and says - so I do understand it - "you want me to arrest you, fuckhead?" I was going to take it up with the powers that be, but my roommate warned that unless I enjoy swimming with 200 pounds of cement glued to my ass, I'd best leave well enough alone.

Ah, Buddy's era. Great criminal politico. And, oh, an erstwhile Republican. They come in all stripes and colors.:D

There should be something that you can do to get these guys for things like the $23 billion in pork spending that they used to buy anti-Bush votes in the the last budget proposal.

I wish there was a list of who added the payoffs and whose states they went to. Anyone who agreed to either end of that deal should be booted out.

The most ethical Congress in history. Ha! I think those were the first words out of the Clinton's mouths after "they" were elected as president.
