    dell only build the case, all their harddare is from other manufactor.

    You won't need a heavy duty graphics card, I can tell you right now if you are using it for software, go for the one with the best processor and more RAM. Assuming you don't play a lot of games, watch a lot of movies, or download a lot of applications... I wouldn't even worry about the hard drive. More than likely it will be more than you'll ever use.

    that's not what egs was referring to :rolleyes:

    he meant dell and similar companies might give you 'crap' parts....e.g 1GB of memory :eek::eek: ya' spoil us :rolleyes:

    comparatively speaking price wise anyway.

    True, except that HDs cost very little now, I don't use my HD for games, but I've used my 100GB HD..very little left. Also, with graphics I have dual monitors, which would work better with a Dual - DVI graphics card. They cost loads off dell ($1,500) but you can get them for $250. Before you buy them though, check you have a PCI-Express slot, because with the vast majority of Dual - DVI cards you will need this.
