Dell Studio 17 laptop disk drive problem?

    A friend of mine has a Dell Studio 17 laptop and it was working pretty fine. But for the last couple of days the disk drive has not been working. Whenever he tries to put a disk in the drive attempts to spin but after a clicking sound the disk stops spinning and the whole process starts again. Can't figure out whats the problem with the drive. Need your help to fix this.

    Well i think its a hardware problem better ask Dell for a replacement if you have warranty.

    Try with more discs to check whether the problem is with the disc or Drive.

    If you couldn't figure it out Please contact Customer care.
