    I agree battery problem is the major problem,dell has some battery issue.

    dell has battery problem but at the same time HPs got heating problem
    dell is providing the model with complete cover i.e. complete recovery from accidental damage, liquid damage and other software problems.
    in the END both are going to degrade, so the main problem is servicing centre, both have good service
    i'm using DELL XPS model with 500gb hdd , 4gb ram and i5 processor
    its battery is also degrading day by day.

    I've used both Dell and HP, and really though I've never had any problems with either (from my personal experience). If I were to buy another laptop, I would probably look at the specs and pick whichever one I could get for a better price.
