I've used Dell and HP and had good experiences with both in the past.

Another computer company that makes notebooks to look at is Sager.

DELL all the way, both monitor and PC.

I've owned both brands, and my DELLs just run much stronger and are more reliable than HPs in my opinion. I've had a lot more problems with my HPs.

    Hope this helps. Good luck!

Don't buy Dell. Dell is very worse. I bought a Dell laptop. After 1 year I'm having so many problems.
    Battery problem, speaker problem, etc.
Dell cheated me. I won't ever go with Dell in my life.

In my opinion HP will be better than DEL. I am using HP since last two years and I have`t got any problem and one of my friends who had purchased DEL with me and he had gone to service center several times.

I would suggest you to go for Dell i5. It is more reliable whereas HP is not.
