Hi, I've been writing for a few different companies and now I'm going to try to get some client's on my own. What are some ways to deliver your writing assignments to the client? Thanks

I'm not entirely sure what you are asking for here. I almost fear to answer this with the obvious, but... snail mail, email? Most clients I have worked with prefer Word documents while there are a few who prefer rich text. Simply ask them what they prefer. :) If this is not what you mean, my apologies and I hope you get the answer you are looking for.

I thought there was something you had to set up so your clients could upload your articles. I upload my articles for a company I work for so I thought clients did the same thing when you finished articles for them.
I guess I'm a lttle confused about this.
    Thanks
    Sherry

I generally zip the article up and email them, or upload the .zip file to one of my websites and give them the download link.

Same here. I zip all the articles up and then send the file via email.

I offer my client options to choose from [IMG]

    • Microsoft Word, RTF, TXT or PDF Format
    • Zipped or unzipped
    • Uploaded to a clients-only area insdie my site in which I have an encrypted and password protected page to scare search engines away.
    • Same than above but instead of a regular page providing SSL access to those clients with special requirements.
However clients tend to prefer email delivery and MS-Word format [IMG]
