Do you think a "delicious" links trade would increase traffic?

if you meant, a link from del.icio.us, then there are of course certain other factors to take into consideration.

del.icio.us links have rel="nofollow" added so there's no gain in link terms.

Del.icio.us is social networking, nothing to do with search.

The previous poster is correct. Potentially it can bring you a lot of traffic. Maybe more than search.

When we are talking about del.icio.us we are talking about link baiting.
And with link baiting you get hundreds and hundreds of in-text links - quality backlinks and traffic of course.

del.icio.us has increased my traffic, my website still new so I've 4 or 5 unique visitor per a day, but after i post my link in del.icio.us, traffic increased for 90 unique per day which is very good for a start in these days.

I always get boosts in traffic whenever I submit to del.icio.us or digg and I have a lot of residual traffic from those previous posts. Of course, it sounds like you're wondering how helpful it is to have someone digg your article for you? Just put together useful unique content and diggers / del.icio.us will build your links for you.

It can work for now, but i feel that it's only time till del.icio.us figures it out... Kinda like when there was the "you digg me i digg you" group that was flying around here. :)
