Hi all. I wanted to ask you what do you think about delicious links for link building. Those links are nofollow and they are not in cache.

I know they work as bookmarks but I don't know if they count for link building.

I haven't really seen any benefit in delicious.com. The best part about it is that a lot of other sites accept account dumps from it, so you can simply upload all of your delicious.com bookmarks on other sites in a matter of seconds.

Well there is no ranking benefit from a Delicious link but if you or the person you're working for wants increased traffic it can work for that. It takes about 10 seconds to make a Delicious bookmark but I've seen that tiny little bookmark increase site traffic by 5% more than once. If you could increase your site traffic by 5% a month for about 30 seconds work and the cost is free, would you do it?

Social bookmarking is not great for link building but it has a lot more benefits, increased visitors, index your site quickly, attract new prospects. Social bookmarking is all good. Use them all digg, sphinn, mixx etc
