Is there any SEO ramifications of duplicate content on a website. Let say original content is here: www.sample.com We have articles that are in HTML and hand wired into the website. We want to try to implement a CMS platform but maybe start testing it to see if articles have good quality. So we plan on working with blogspot or wordpress root sites to start a subdomain with the copy content from www.sample.com. I know google can put you in the sandbox if overall content is duplicated, however www.sample.com has very poor rankings while blogspot/wordpress has higher rankings. Will this at the end reflect poorly on www.sample.com?
