Deleting post categories in WP SQL data base

    I have a large wordpress data base and want to delete whole categories but they are to big to do it through wordpress.

    Is their a way to delete and edit entire category sections through phpMyAdmin?

    Use truncate option in PHPmyadmin ,for safer side take the backup before you delete.
