I don't think there is. If you remove the pages the Googlebot will soon notice that they are gone. They should gradually disappear lower down the SERPs as natural wastage. See what the others think.

Use the Google page removal tool

    http://services.google.com/urlconsole/controller?cmd=reload&lastcmd=login

You need to do it twice as it only lasts for 6 months while Supplemental takes 12 months to get out of the index

The slow way is to put the DISALLOW for a while and the pages will go supp

Well... that can be fixed via htaccess (on a nix server)

I wouldn't REALLY be all that concerned.. why are you? Losing rankings or something?

well I be getting the copy tanked if it were me... for starters (more than a few ways to go about that)

If you really want to remove listings.. then use the Page Removal tool I posted then...

If it's simply fears over dupes with 'www' and 'non-www' then I wouldn't get that drastic

Talking about methods to delete a listing, is there any way to "contact" Google and ask for them to delete certain pages that are displaying private or personal information that represent a privacy threat to you or to your company?

I hope somebody knows a solution.

    Regards

Use the page removal tool I mentioned above (once now and once in 6 months)

Then be sure to use the noindex/nofollow on the page or the robots.txt

Thank you for your answer but it seems that I have not been specific enough. Lets suppose that some years ago I have used to write to a mailing list and that my namer or handle or nickname or whatever is there if you search for it on google.

Searching "hadle_example" would result in a display of those mailing list items because they are posted automatically by an online interface (take for example a simple mail list like OpenBSD has).

Is there any method to remove such pages or at least obsfucate "handle_example" from the public in order to get my privacy back?

NOTE: This was all just a case study

    Thank you for your time.

well unless you have access to the server to modify/remove the actual page/reference from the web.. no..it would simply be reindexed

if it is an old reference to a page that doesn't exsit... it will be gone in 12 months when it works out of the SI

You have to OWN the site where the data is to efectively remove it (unless it is illegal - then U can get the info down no probs)
