I applied for Adsense but google didn't accept my blog and a few friends told me thatz because i have a few posts on blog about free serial numbers of some softwares which isn't allowed. Now i want to delete those posts before reapplying to Adsense. Will deleting these posts effect my ranking in Google?
If your content will be deleted of course your rankings would be affected because google will no longer see the keywords on the content.
well, i meant will it effect traffic to other articles on site (I know google will no longer send traffic to those specific articles)
Im sure this will affect your rankings, but if you really want to be accepted in to google adsense, then i would just delete them and hope and pray. Hard
Not sure how it would affect overall serp changes but if you feel that you desperately need the account and that's the only way out, then consider doing it.
what else is my option.......need to get adsense account anyways..and one of those articles is ranking high in Google
Google might be rejecting your adsense application if your website/blog is not six months old....after all... So..if that is the case, you will not need to delete anything... and wait for completion of six months for adsense Regards, RightMan
If you want the real solution then here it is... if you delete one page, then create 2 other post to cater for the loss of keywords in one post. The effect will not be visible then. And for google to accept yr adsense application, you must also have some or atleast 10 good and original content and if you have it then wait for 6 months.
Ya, i think so, your ranking will be effected because some of the keywords for which your site is being indexed will be missing now. You will have to test it. But, if you want to put adsense, you need to delete those posts
Thanks for help guys....yeah blog is more than a year old now.......i m writing content daily now.......Thnaks for all your help
it really depends... If that post drives a lot of traffic or links to your blog then I think it will affect your ranking and also your adsense earnings.
Not overall site ranking, but it sure will affect traffic as those posts might be getting you a decent amount of visitors from SE. AdSense is getting more and more serious for appliers, try it again with a decently templated site of real content.
why would you want to add blog post then delete them later on? what happen to the traffic that the post gets from the SE. you do know that will b gorn right?
