Hi, I'm trying to clean up my yahoo mail accounts, which goes back to... a very long time meaning 10.000+ emails to delete. However, when I try to delete too many emails, it says it cannot do it. So I did manually for some of these, deleting 10 by 10 at a time, and then checked the trash bin (with some 8.000 emails) and when I clicked to empty the trash bin it says it can't... I guess it's too many emails at a time, fine. What I'd like is maybe some sort of script to delete those 10.000+ emails which are before a certain date. Is it possible? Can anyone here support this? I don't know how to contact Yahoo directly, so hope this community can help. Thanks, Virginie

Hi, Thanks. I actually did what one of the guy mentioned : I used Thunderbird to delete them. It took a bit of time, but far less than doing it 10 by 10 in the "webmail" version..... Thanks for the time you spent looking for a solution !!
Try to make something like few hundreds e-mails, like 200-300-500 at a time in the bin and all should work correctly. I am not seeing why it should work in some other way than that, hopefully it could help you. I had same problem and did like that.
