We have been cleaning up old/blacklisted accounts and was doing fine till yesterday it stopped letting us delete them
I have checked everything and can find no reason it will not let us delete
    everything else is working fine

Thanks Schlottke. I missed the bread crumb trail to the forum title. In this case it is a "job for Superman", aka Shawn :D

Are you getting any error when you hit the Delete button on the Customer Info screen? Or just nothing (no message or anything)?

I should have explained in more detail but was going by what employee had explained and should have just tryed it myself
We have been going through our optigold and cleaning out old clients that are blacklisted or gone for whatever reason
I am getting stopped at deleting invoices i mark an invoice for deletion it tells me that it can not delete a closed invoice when it shows it open
if i close invoice then reopen invoice then check it for deletion ,it shows it marked for deletion but does not show up in maintian&Pref> invoices up for deletion (shows none)
this is where i am getting stopped in my process of deleting old customers as all of them have invoices in there profiles
    Thanks for all your help
    Ken

Hmmm, that is strange for sure. What version of Optigold ISP are you using? Also, you can turn on the "God Level Deletes" under employee groups if you want to be able to delete customers (without deleting invoices/payments).

Shawn, using god level deletes...does it wipe out the invoices/payments? Or it just doesn't require them to be gone 1st and leaves payments/invoices laying around?

If god level takes care of "everything" relating to a customer, whoa...that could save some time!

(of course, I don't beleive in deleting customers.... especially black-listed, I've caught them trying to get MORE free services via the "blacklisted" feature. Worth a buck to me to tell them to go to hell!) Love that feature! :D
