Deleted/Dropped/Expired domain

    Hi

    When buying a domain (and - or before buying) , how does one know if it's a Deleted/Dropped/Expired domain? Is there a place I can look up this info?

    Look up the domain at whois.sc

    On the right hand side there should be a little box with all the common TLDs and circles above them all. The legend below it should tell you whether the domain, in any extention, is registered, is available, or has been registered in the past and dropped.

    www.archive.org
    also lookup the whois and see the date. if there are pages indexed before the creation date it expired.
