    Hello,

    Don't remove them, rebuild them!
    Why destroy entire pages?

If I were you, I'd do these:
-purge/remove poor-quality old backlinks (use the Google Webmaster Tools)
-rewrite content, re-build non-textual content elements and design
    -remove on-page SEO juice
    -add fresh new content
    -obtain new quality links

...otherwise I recommend you check our site, we offer a Panda and Penguin course that will teach you just how to recover!

How do I do this part? Im interested in removing links.... -purge/remove poor-quality old backlinks (use the Google Webmaster Tools)

I was condering a new domain but then my old domain still ranks high for some good keywords and its 5 years old. Strangely enough, after panda, I ranked higher for some good 2 word phrases but lost alot of 3 or 4 word phrases. Its certain pages that got affected by panda it seems and those are what im trying to fix along with removing what might be bad links as well.

Another quick question, if I did a 301 redirect of an old page to new and deleted the old page from my ftp directory, should I also remove this url using webmaster tools or not do anything because its now forwarded to another page? For example its not showing 404 error so im assuming its properly setup in googles eyes?
