Based on https://lastpass.com/heartbleed/?h=digitalpoint.com and https://gist.github.com/dberkholz/10169691/20197f6f6a7c9ddef5c03caaf9fc22ac9d99f2a2, digitalpoint is vulnerable to heartbleed. Most sites revoked their certificates, DP didn't. So, could an admin/mod please close/ban/delete(anything which results in me being unable to access it(ofcourse, changing the email to a random address is not an option)) my account? I am not 100% sure if DP is still vulnerable, but if it is, it is a huge security bottleneck for me, and as such, I do not want to maintain an account on here. I saw there was recently a post here regarding a similar request which was denied. That is just ridiculous and outrageous. Even FB has an option to deactivate an account. If a reason is needed for my account to be closed, this and me spamming the mods should be enough?
Information you have is incorrect. https://filippo.io/Heartbleed/#digitalpoint.com Our servers were patched within about 25 minutes of Heartbleed becoming public. We also have a unique way that keys are stored where it would not have been possible to get SSL keys even if we were still susceptible. Additionally, we have always used things like Perfect Forward Secrecy. To answer your question about deleting your account, it's not something we do, sorry.
