I always thought the annoying process of deleting messages from Facebook: Enter the message page> Click on a message> Actions> Delete messages ... > Delete all One by one. So, here is a script to delete all facebook msg's at ones, with a single click! works fine in FF and Chrome! Url: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/112883
Becareful with this script as mass deleting a number of messages could flag your account. They monitor the number and volume of requests coming in and if they suspect you're automating some of it - they will throw up a captcha automatically. If you fail the captcha repetitively or keep making requests beyond that, they may ban your account or closer it in the prospect of an FB page (if you're the admin).
Nice little script for FB addicts, but I just usually let my inbox fill itself up on fb. Doesn't really make a difference to me.
be careful using any software on FB, it may get you banned. anyone can say its safe until you find your pc going crazy then what. OP is already banned from DP.
use imacro in mozilla, start record, save your script, and play loop. my experience i got 2000 message and deleted all in one click
Why when I delete a message it is still in the archive... then the only option to do to a message that is archived is to un-archive it. -_- It just goes back to my ...
hehehe lolz...here is only we are discussing to delete tha facebook messages ...not the facebook account....submit a new different thread
Okay, I installed the script, but how do I use it? There is no extra button anywhere to click to delete them all.
A Facebook app known as YAPZAPP will be launched soon to make clean up of Facebook data easier for users. YAPZAPP can delete Facebook messages, wall posts, photos, status updates, and likes efficiently. It can be made to delete information for a specified period or even set up an expiration date for your Facebook data -- say, program it to delete all information that is more than 6 months old. At yapzapp.com you can sign up to be a beta tester and become one of the first to easily clean up your Facebook profile.
It's a Facebook App from an actual developer -- not some random script somebody just posts here. It will be undergoing beta testing in a few weeks before it is expected to launch in October 2012. I don't think the script posted at the top of this page had a beta testing stage. If the goal is to delete Facebook messages at once, what are you afraid of risking? That it won't get deleted?
