Anybody has a clue whether there exists a delayed Sandbox effect? My website has been online for more then a year and ranked on page 2 for the last few months, with doing just a bit of link promotion but not much. Now, in November I have been submitting enthousiastically to 5-6 directories per day and last week my site wasn't found until page 7... Today it's on page 9. Has that damned damping filter been applied again? Anybody has seen this before? Thanks for your suggestions...
Seeing the same thing right now as well on one of my sites. It's like G just forgot about it. I'm going to keep chugging away regardless--it happens to convert referrals better than SE traffic anyway.
It happened to one of my sites as well, but my site moved to a new dedicated server and was down for a good 30-32 hours, hopefully this was the reason.
My 2 years old site has been faced with the same issue. It was on the first page when searching some important keywords and was receiving good traffic but I can't see the same results anymore and receive almost no traffic. It suddenly dropped from SERPs - yesterday. The only different thing I did recently was buying a few links and submitting it to a few directories. I'm not sure whether this is the reason. The second strange thing is that Google indexed hundreds of new pages of my site yesterday. I can't understand Google anymore.
hi, One of my site is facing the same problem i think the solution is to make some good high quality back links and just wait for some month till Google bless our site no other way dear... Just wait n watch
Google has a strange system of sandboxing, especially seeing how many legitimate sites are sandboxed with little or no SEO done to them. I suggest you keep a steady flow of links, same link density, and vary your KW density on page and in anchor text. Wait 30-60 days and you should be out of the sandbox nice and clean
In a sick and twisted way, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who is having this problem. Specifically, my traffic drop occured around Dec 8-9th. How about everyone else? I wonder if this is something that is going on all over google?
Thank guys, it's a consolation that I am not the only one who suffered this problem... We'll see what happens within a month or so.
