I've been using Articlelive for a while now. It's #1 feature for me is the ability to delay articles so that I can write a bunch of articles and let the software automatically post a new one each day. Are there any CMS systems out there that do this? It seams like it would be a common thing, but I find that it really isn't. I've tried many CMS systems, but I wanted to make sure that I didn't miss something. This delayed article concept is the most important feature to me in a CMS (with the exception of being search engine friendly and allowing the user to use most/all features of the site with one universal login). Hi -- I think most of the major CMS's have the delayed or scheduled article posting function, including my favorite, PostNuke. What I'd like to suggest is you do a list of features/functions you'd like your site to have then review the most popular ones on OpenSourceCMS.com. Each application has pros/cons so it's important to determine which one meets 'your' specific needs. Good luck and if I can help let me know.
Thanks for mentioning the site. I'm suprised with all my research, I've never found this one before. Brandon
Try Geeklog, that CMS also has a great archiving option, you can choose to delete, just save, or archive the article. And delayed posting is a piece of cake, and is indead a great way of producing daily fresh content while submitting it once a week...
