Hello, I sent an email to AdSense support several days ago regarding an accidental click I made but they haven't answered yet. I've been in this situation two times before, and their answe was quite prompt, avg. 24 hrs. Have anyone noted a delay in answering lately? Could this be a bad sign for my publisher account?
They're probably getting tired of hearing about it. ONE accidental click isn't going to worry Google. I'm sure that happens to almost everyone at some point.
And you haven't? On many sites, the Google ads aren't far away from the navigation, so it's easy to click on an ad from time to time - I've done it myself. It's only the scare about having an AdSense account withdrawn that makes this situation any different - if it's some else's site, you just hit "Back" and don't think twice about it.
Well, yep, is slips that much. Trust me, if any AdSense publisher is tricking Google, their number of accidental click is over 3.
Yes, I would think that an "accidental" click is going to happen and possibly even be filtered out, and where honesty is always the best policy 1) Google probably has better things to worry about and 2) bringing undo attention on yourself may not be the best policy ... Maybe they're too busy getting readly for a PR update »crossing fingers»
How fast Google replies also depends on your email address. I've registered my adsense from one of my email addresses and contacted adsense support from another one. In general it took them several days to answer and I was a bit angry with that. Finally they suggested me to contact support from the email address to which I've registered adsense. After that responses are about 24 hours fast. By in this case I agree with minstrel - seems that they've taken a look into their crm, found several such problems from your account and simply ignored the problem because it's too much .
Correct, but is not my case, I emailed from the AdSense associated email address which happens to be a GMail one
I kept doing it - forgetting I'm looking at one of my own sites - save yourself the worries see AdSense self clicking - solution for FireFox
Well, I gues you are right. Hopefully I will have a static IP soon for my machine and I will do an IP test before showing the ads. I'm glad is all over Thanks for your replies!
