Default Max CPC

    My questions are....

I recently increased my max CPC from $0.41 to $0.60 with the hope that I would receive a higher average position. At .41, the keywords I am using would usually rank at the 8th or 9th position.

With an increase of almost 0.20 to my bid, I am now only ranked at 7th and 8th position?

Does this mean I have to increase my bid above .60 to get a ranking of 1st or 2nd?

How do I figure out how much my competitors are bidding for the same keywords that I am using?

    Thank you,

Where can I learn more about the Quality Score Model?

I understand page rank, relevancy, and optimized content. If there is somethign other than this that you are referring to, please elaborate or refer me to where I can learn more about the Quality Score Model.

    Thanks Sarathy,

I assume that your account is new.,
I would suggest you to have the following structure

Campaign > Themed Adgroups > Themed Keywords related to adgroup
    Example:
Games > Video Games > Cheap Video Games

    Use dynamic Keyword Insertion feature

Use your Themed adgroup name in the display url.,
    Example:
    Yourdomain.com/Adgroup/Buy

Initially, Your bid should be high (use position preference tool to set your ad to appear between the 3 to 5 spots) , Wait Until you get a Good CTR., after that start reducing your Bid.,

While reduing dont Reduce it Drastically, reduce it bit by bit.

    Best of luck
