Deeplinks and Other Questions from a New Directory Owner

    Hi,

I am jumping right into the directory arena with a large budget. Domain, hosting and phpld 3.2 are in place. But that is as far as I have come so far

My thinking is that I focus my energy on building a strong directory rather than installing every last mod there, is. Would you say I am thinking right?

The only mod that seems exciting to me is the deeplinks mod. Could someone suggest a good deeplinks mod?

    Thanks :)
    Ajeet

actually i ran across a blog that has so many mods for phpld your head will spin off..http://www.mywebsearches.com/blog/category/phpld-mod-list/complete-list-for-phpld-mods/

Im currently re-building most off mine at the present moment and will be using many off these mods both
paid and free as not everything in life is free and sometimes a few bucks is the best bet if you seek quality.

    thx

sleek and biz-king at the time an0n was doing his deep links thing...

If your going to give "credit" for that mod then please give it to
silkysmooth as he deserves it for his effort ;)

I think I will go with the one by an0n :) And I must saw that I am thrilled to see the great directory community here :)

If I may, could I ask one more question? On each page of the directory (i.e. at the subcat level), I would like to place a different original article. I think this will go a long way in indexing, ranking, and setting the theme of the page. Do you have any suggestions on how I could do that?

    Thanks :)

    Nah not at all..

I manually added each and every category and everything by my own, everything took half a day. its original from my side.
It is a normal phpld 3.2.0 of regional niche!
Here is what you are talking about i think - http://www.phplinkdirectory.com/forum/archive/index.php/f-16.html

And good thinking it is, if you bought every mod out there you'd be surely out of pocket at a rate of speed. I'm not going to even go to promote my own script as you asked for a phpld deeplink mod, I'm just going to hint that there's other scripts out there with all you need already built in.

Does seem like you've gone for phpld though so good luck. :)
