I have a question about strategy regarding googles bots. I've seen substancial positive improvements in rankings after adding shed loads of keyword relavant content to my site each week. On average, we are talking between 20 and 50 new 350 word articles every week. Google is loving it and my rankings are shooting up. But - it seems that deepbot is the bot that crawls the site, following links and scanning for new pages, whilst freshbot checks indexed pages for new updates, and this is what makes the bots come back more often. I'm naturally assuming that more visits is good but can't make the link between that and good rankings. My question is - should I carry on as I am, creating many new pages a week, should I write these articles on currently indexed pages giving freshbot more to think about, or should I do a mixture of both? Does it matter? Your thoughts?
Google always sends more traffic to sites with constant fresh material (accept for those of us ousted on the 27th)
Just a quick idea guys": If your pressed for time writing all those articles a good idea might be to checkout guru.com or scriptlance.com or rentacoder.com where you can hire writers who will write an entire 600 word article from $2 up to $10. You could do 20/week for under $50
