When i look at directory sites it says for example $25 for 5 deep links and featured spot or say $15 for 3 deep links? What are deep links im confused when i look at listings all i see is a title that links to the site and no other links. I want to start a design directory so im trying to figure out what to offer on my submit page.. i was thinking a free reciprocal link and then a paid normal link and then a paid featured link, im just confused about what deep links are and where they show up on a directory...

I think that is a good question, deep links ar simply links to other pages in your site. OT in the industry people know what a deep link is and people have written stories re people getting it wrong etc. Half the reason is you want real people to use the option just talk in plain english KISS sytem works well as general jo blo does not know what a deep link is ? ( it must be a knitting stitch or something ? ) So why not just say 5 extra links to other pages in your site ? simple really.
Yes deeplinks are listed on the detail pages and they offer more value to a submission so they usually cost a little extra. I have a few directories let me know if you need any help.
Ah I always wondered! I thought deep linking was going even deeper into the directory categories.. so I thought, I have to pay extra for that? lol
