    Deep links are good, if you have something you do not want people to see, just put it behind a password protected area.

    Looks like there may be some confusion.

    Deep linking is, technically, generating inbound links which point to images or subpages other than the site's homepage. As an example, http://www.widgets.com/blue-widgets/custom/widget1.php would be a "deep link."
