What are your thoughts on deep link directories. I came across a list of some and submitted to a few, primarily to pick up links to some of my important internal pages. They are for the most part cheap and some have decent PR (4-6) Does anyone here have an opinion on them as far as if they have seen benefit?

Deep Links do get clicked and they also facilitate deeper indexing of target sites with a few other benefits. If you need some good ones, drop me a message, I will tell you the ones I use the most for my clients.
