Hi Everyone Sorry had to repost since the title change wouldnt update I launched my website http://www.recreation-finance.com and I am trying to get better organic rankings. The site only launched in the beginning of Nov 07, and is indexed by yahoo, google, etc. for the domain, but for the important keywords, it is still coming up deep in the search results, if at all. I would like to get ranked for boat loan(s), rv loan(s), boat financing, rv financing etc. I am acquiring new links daily, but don't seem to be moving up in rankings. I would really like to get some feedback on how we can improve our ranking. Please visit the site, this is my first website project, and have done much DIY SEO research etc. Just want to make sure I didnt miss the "boat" on any key factors. Your knowledge and feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Emorris
I think you need to focus on onpage seo. Your keyword boat loan appears nearly half as much as the top ranked site for boat loan. But it's not just as simple as adding more text, you need to look at keyword density. If you need an onpage seo report for your primary keyword, pm me. If you are not doing so, make sure you submit some deep links. This will not only help those pages rank better, but it will improve your overall site rankings. Yahoo is only showing 30 backlinks for your site. You'll need a lot more links then this. Start submitting like crazy to directories. Use RoboForm.com's free software to fill out the forms for you so that all you have to do is type in captcha. Vary your anchor text (ie. boat loan, boat loans, bow rider boat loans, etc.). If you need a list of directories, look to my sig. You have a nice site. When you get a chance, go to the directory in my sig and submit directly under recreation. Use the featured link option with 5 deep links and don't pay. I'll approve it. Happy Holiday's and welcome to Digital Point.
Just give it time. November of 2007 is still very early. I've found on my own experiences that most newer websites take 6 months+ to rank on google.
