    Hello,
I just seached on this forum and found two most server companies that I like most. Here are two of my options from each company.

Can you please tell me which one is better?

    1. VPS $100/mo from liquidweb
    100 GB RAID protected storage
    768MB dedicated RAM, 1024MB burstable
    700GB Monthly Transfer
    4 IP Addresses
    Cpanel/WHM/Fantastico/XController
    Fully Managed Support

    2. Dedicated server $94/mo from the Planet
    Pentium 4 - 2.4 GHz
    512 MB RAM
    80 GB hard disk
    750 GB bandwidth
    5 IP Addresses
    cpanel

Please give me some advice which one I should sign up with?

    Thanks,
    Jenny.

The VPS, because the pentium 4 is expensive.

The price for Pentium 4 is cheaper, $94/mo (CP included).

I know that the pentium is cheaper than the vps, but that pentium is expensive compared with the normal price for a pentium.

Personally, I'd never go with the planet...they are going downhill these days.

Do you have any other suggestion of which company I should go with? Liquiweb is my only option if the Planet is not good.
    thanks.

also, i'm pretty sure, ThePlanet does not offer any support. Only hardware issues so unless you can manage your own VPS you'll need a host that provides management too.

For the server management support, I can learn how to do it myself.
    Layeredtech is not my option.
    Thanks.

Do you have anything that would back that claim? As I have never yet heard bad about theplanet. I don't work for theplanet nor am i currently hosting with them. I was thinking of shifting my servers to theplanet and your claim goes against my research. So would you mind to back up your claim?

    That's right.
Why did he say the Planet is going downhills??? with no proof?
The Planet is the TOP company that provides Dedicated Servers for cheaper plans than their resellers...

    Thanks.
