Dedicated server localy

    Is it possible to have the complete enviroment of a dedicated server localy so i can do some tests?With Centos OS.

    Yes you can dual boot centos and windows on your own PC.

    The easiest way would be to use Virtual PC ( the same as VMware ), but if you want to test performance, you'll need to dual boot. Here's an easy to follow tutorial on how to set up your CentOS server - hxxp://www.howtoforge.com/perfect_setup_centos_4.3 :)

    or you can install centos on a local pc and configure it the way you want.

    better to use vmware and setup your own virtual server.
    this is what i do to test things before doing on server in prod.

    Or just Virtual PC if you have Windows. Easier to manage if you dont have a whole computer to dedicate to it.
