Dedicated Server Hosting Company Suggestions

    Hey All,

I have been looking around for our company to move to a dedicated server hosting package.

We have around 150 domains that are currently running on a shared server, the problem is the current company we are with has been having an increase in down time, and our company is 100% profit driven through our sites. So when they are down for hours with repairs we are loosing a lot of money.

My thought is if we are paying for a dedicated server we will one get better service and two hopefully avoid downtime that a shared server may be more proned to.

Anyone have any good suggestion, I have searched and have a few, but most only throw out thier prices and say 99% uptime. I am more interested in hearing from the source then some sales page. Anyone deal with a hosting company that has some type of redundancy in effect rather then just yanking out a server leaving the cords dangling while they repair the broken server.

    Thanks,

i have been really happy with these guys for my dedi

i will be getting a second one soon i think and moving a large forum over. they make provisions for stuff like streaming video etc and the support is very good as they are a pretty small company at the moment but i like that sometimes as it makes things a lot more personal and thats what i always go for.

    Hey thanks turbosatan!

I talking to the sales rep Brian and he was very helpful even with no sleep, said he had worked the entire night through.

He is working on quoting us out a custom package that will eliminate downtime. He mentioned using a VPS node that would switch servers if one server failed for some reason.

Sounds good to me, and their prices are pretty damn good.
