I have a dedicated fresh out of the box server. The domain name registar is Godaddy. I set up so my dedicate server is the main name server. NS1.mysite.com and NS2.mysite.com, both assigned with a unique IP for my site.

So basically when I access mysite.com/Cpanel, I should gain full access/administrator for WHM right?

I have a co-worker who also works on mysite.com and I want him to be able to access mysite.com/Cpanel to back up data, create database and manage mysite.com but I don't want him to have full access like me. Is it possible to create 2 different accounts login for mysite.com/Cpanel?

    Thanks.

Since its your server you have admin rights above reseller and client.

I know that but since I set my main site as my own nameserver so whenever I access mysite.com/cpanel and login with my username and pass I get full rights. However, I have a co-admin who I want to able to access the mysite.com/cpanel but without full rights. Is it possible?

    Hi,

What account is it created under?

If you created the account under the whmadm account then you will need to create a new account and then move the site to it. you can then give your co-worker that user name and password and they will only be able to edit/modify/delete/etc that particular site in that account.

Sorry for the confusing. Let me rephrase the whole thing.

So I have a Dedicate server which comes with 2 IPs. I also have a main site (mysite.com) which is currently running on another server. On that main site, I want to share the Cpanel with my co-admin but not all the root/full admin privileges.

What I did was go to to godaddy and assign IP1 to ns1.mysite.com and IP2 to ns2.mysite.com then go to NAMESERVER --> Custom DNS --> Enter in NS1.mysite.com and NS2.mysite.com. And of course when I go to mysite.com I should see my site and when I use mysite.com/Cpanel I have to enter in the Root Login ID and Pass in order to access since mysite.com/Cpanel is the same like 165.0.12.9/Cpanel.

Now I want my co-admin to gain access to mysite.com/Cpanel too but not gain full admin access. Is there a way to create another set of LogIn ID & pass for the same site/cpanel/domain?

    Thanks

    Hi,

No you can not have multiple logins to the same cPanel account. What you should do is log into whm and create a new account and then copy all your domains and files over to that account. Then when you or your partner want to edit the site you both can use this new account by logging in via mysite.com/Cpanel and you will not have administrator privileges.
