    Okay, Here's my situation.

I currently have 3 websites with low bandwidth requirments.
I plan on purchasing 10 more in the near future.

I do not want to pay $80/year for 1tb of bandwidth per site on godaddy.

I plan on getting a single virtual dedicated server, or a dedicated server with 2tb of bandwidth to share amongst the sites. I just need to know what the difference is between virtual dedicated and dedicated.

Also, if you have any recomendations for my situation I would love to hear them. I like godaddy because it is one-stop shopping.

Could you guys help me out? Thanks

Are you sure you gotta require that much bandwidth for 10-15 sites ?
I'd suggest you to get started with a VPS and later upgrade to dedicated box if you outgrow your resources. VPSs start from $15+/month.

I made the jump to a dedicated server a year or so ago and couldn't be happier. I love the fact that it's my box - period! I wanted to go with a package I could grow with so I didn't have to switch servers in a few months.

two of the sites that I have are proxies... and I don't think that godaddy will allow those for their regular hosting packages, but they might if I had my own VPS...

rk... do you have the server in your possession with a strong internet connection? or is it somewhere with a company?
