BurstNet I believe. Just a clarification, the 2000gb is 1000gb in + 1000gb out .. ie, if you go 1900gb out and 100gb in .. you WILL be charged for the 900gb extra outgoing traffic. Regards, ashagg
hi please do not hijack threads that is not how our bandwidth is charged thanks, please know your facts before posting
The title is wrong It tells that, unmetered 10mbps server from $34. But the post is telling + $34 for basic server
My apologies if it's NOT in Burstnet. If however they ARE in the Burstnet DC, you might want to recheck again with them. I'd hate to see someone loose a lot of money because of a small confusion like I did.
Sorry qualityhosting that was a mistake on my part, still $44.00 is a good deal yes they are co-located there at there dc i dont understand how you would say that you would get changed for a extra 900gb you havent used Each 10MBPS unmetered server is connected to a Full-Duplex 10MBPS switch port, which is connected to a bandwidth pool shared by all 10MBPS unmetered clientele. 10MBPS unmetered servers on average can transfer between 2000GB-3000GB per month in both outbound and inbound directions which may result in some slowdowns during peak traffic times. NO OVERAGE FEES REGARDLESS OF USAGE.
What you're refering to is th policy IF you upgrade to a 10mbit unmetred port. If you go with the standard 2000gb limit , it is 1tb in and 1tb out. Please get the facts right from your BurstNet Account Representative. For your reference, I quote from the BurstNET FAQ's : BurstNETâ„¢ maintains software on most servers and on all switches to monitor individual website usage and server-wide usage. Bandwidth is billed per Gigabyte (GB) over your monthly allocation, rounded up to the nearest Gigabyte. Allocations are currently calculated based on the 50/50=100 calculation method. For example, a 2000GB allocation would allow 1000GB of inbound (downstream) AND 1000GB of outbound (upstream) bandwidth. I don't mean to hijack your thread... just wanted to get the facts right.. I'm going to leave your thread alone now.. Apologies if I was out of line. ..unsubscribed...
