Dedicated IP?

    Hi people

    I am currently working on my largest website ever (its huge), I have acquired a 7 year own domain, and I am currently working on a full css layout, just wondering if it is worth buying a dedicated IP?

    ps. How does Google know its a dedicated IP?

    If it is just for SEO, it is not worth it..

    The advantage of having your own IP is that your site and some spammy site won't be hosted on the same server. If you choose a reputable host, it is very unlikely your web site will be hosted on the same server with some bad sites. Sharing the same IP address with spammy site isn't going to help your site's rankings.

    If the website is definitely huge with a lot of pages When you expect lot of visitors you definitely need a dedicated ip as it could provide you large bandwidth and space
