Hello, I have an issue - SEO-related, because it's about IP addresses' role in SEO, this is not a technical issue (therefore I posted here). OK, so I have several sites in some reseller accounts. Basically all sites have the exact same IP address. Here's an example below (just a fictious example): 148.145.356.17 This is the IP for several sites. All of them have it. I asked my seller to give me 1 new IP address (dedicated) for my new site, which I launched in September. So I had to pay 25 bucks extra. So they gave me a "dedicated IP": 148.145.356.18 That's only used by the new site. Cost extra... Just a single digit (the last number) is different! But I only noticed this today. I already contacted my hoster, asking for a fully new IP, but I guess that I'm hoping for too much. I suppose that this is really bad for SEO. What do you think? Please, only reply if you have experience, don't start guessing. That's what I am doing...
Your host provided you the new dedicated IP address which is from the same range which you already have.If you want new IP range then you can ask them to provide new IP range's IP address. If they have another IP range on the same node then they will definitely provide you.
