Hello All, I am doing seo from last 3 years and i am getting more results but still have some doubt. 1: Shared IP or Dedicated IP : This is also the major factor in Google PR. Please assist me with proof. 2: A website having more then 147,685 Back links In Yahoo and having dedicated ip also but the pr is 4 only and google back links are 97 only. In This website Content is Unique and updates daily. Total Index Pages in Yahoo 24,936,290 and google 780,000. Average Traffic per day 40,000 web site age 2 years. Why the Page Rank Is not Increasing??? 3. In Last update (Sep) my blog PR Was 0 to 4 but after few days the PR Gone For 0 again. Google is updating Twice??? Many Thanks in Advance for your Expert Reply.....
For the first question I would answer Two of my sites are on the same ip but they are having different PR!! E.g indianwebdirectory.info , rmmfa2004.org This shows that IP's has nothing to do with PR!It's more of the backlinks!
Thanks For your reply... But the ans that you provide is not satisfactory..... See in a shared IP you can host many sites like 500 sites. then all sites having diffrent PR. or may be some sites having same PR also. my question is if we have dedicated ip rather then shared ip will It affects PR???
No, 90% website using shared ip's. NO relationship between IP and PR. But it is important for the back links.
To share an IP looks like many sub-domains are sharing a domain also they can all share one IP too. There are many famous sites are using sub-domains. So I think share IP backlinks are also very good. But still has a small chance if a Country or region ban an IP then all the IP users may be banned too.
Ip doesnt matter of it. Pr based on the BL and traffic. Now google given PR very sesitivly, bcz my site have PR5 before now PR2 i did not change my working Strategy. But 10 time more traffic than PR5. So m not worry much and also u too getting good traffic daily
IP Matters for PR as per my knowledge....if you website having dedicated ip google gives priority to it..... This is true that google giving pr very sensitivily.....but it will not affect SERP ranking...and traffic.....
I made it to #4 for SEO on Google.com and the site is on a shared IP. Most of the sites you can see below me are on dedicated servers and IP's. Enough proof? So long as your server is fast, available and the bulk of your backlinks don't come from the same IP that's what matters.
