Dedicated IP helps?

    Hello,

    I am currently hosting my sites at godaddy with shared hosting. Would it help with SEO if I would pay extra to have dedicated IP address for my sites?

    There have been so many speculations on this one. At the end of the day, this doesn't really matter. I've hosted 100's of sites on shared hosting and they all still achieved great rankings.

    If you need a dedicated server though, I'd go with it. Its great when you really start to have a big presence or need a lot of server space.

    Like Voasi said, no one really knows...I have PR1 and PR6 sites all on the same IP...no big deal...It has not lowered my rankings any.
