sorry if this is not the right forum. want to know a bit on dedicated banner advertisemet (not the google ads) i mean u have hv some direct advertisers.. can any one tell how it works? is it also like cpc/cpm or is it fixed revenue ? if the ans is fixed revenue, then what is the avg monthly revenue per ad ?? i know it depends on the client and some other things. but what is the avg revenue?
Most every banner program is different, but most operate on sales generated from clicks made on your banner. A cookie is placed and if someone who went through your site buys something they are advertising you get a commission from it. Again, this varies from program to program. People are getting pretty "banner blind" these days so I'd look for something with text ad options along with their banners.
