Declined by Several Advertisers

    Hi all.

I'm pretty new to Affiliate Advertising but have done fairly well with the BANS sites I have set up.

I'm a pretty experienced Marketer and see a lot of potential in this space, so I went ahead and applied to several programs at CJ and have been swiftly rejected by them.

Is there something in particular that companies are looking for or do I just need to build a history with CJ?

    thanks,
    Sean

i think it depends on the content of your site. as for the ones that automatically reject you, that's based on your profile, including the categories you choose for your site, and perhaps where your site is based (located).

automatic rejection is usually based on your ip address being outside of the usa, it could also be based on your earnings bars on cj.

it is worth sending an email to the affiliate manager explaining your marketing plan etc and asking for a reconsideration of your application. that sometimes works especailly if your website is unrelated and you plan to do ppc. good luck

Just keep trying. You'll get a few and then you can prove yourself. CJ takes some time. Watch my free video and you can see some of the retailers that approve anyone... like buy.com

    good luck

I was rejected by several but I think they just look at the site that you registered with and not the one that you might be using for their program.

I have emailed a few explaining that it was to be used for site "c" not site "a" and they turned around and requested that I join.

    I hope that makes sense.
