Declined Application

I tried to subscribe to the match.com affiliate program and I got an immediate decline. Why is that? They would not have had time to review anything!

And I can't find any way to contact them to ask why I was declined.

    Thanks,

    Jon

C'mon Jon, use the search function, we've covered this here a million times already :p :)

An auto decline is usually because you're from the 'wrong' country. You might be applying to a US advertiser that ONLY accepts US based CJ members. It's stupid, but that's the way they think. You might want to send an email to the advertiser's affiliate manager and plead your case.

FYI - I just tried to join match.com, and was auto declined. I'm in Australia.

EDIT: Forget about contacting them, you're right - they have no aff manager email address.

EDIT AGAIN: I just looked at their site and found this:

The thing is, if I apply for the International Affiliate program, it means I can only market to outside of the USA, right? But my website is targeting a USA audience only. This is stupid! No way to get around this?

I'm doing a comparison site and match is one of the big players so I would like to include them.

Yes the immediate denial! Don't worry it could be numerous reasons. Try contacting them and telling them why you would be good for their business.
It just might be that maybe they have enough affiliates, or it could be you are too new, or maybe your stats are low or you are still in "new" status.
