Over the years I have been writing various blogs on Java, Ruby, Adsense, Chess... All these sites are PR6 and except for the Ruby (it's on my own domain) one, all are on Blogger. Recently, I have not been posting much on my blogs, except the Ruby one where I am quite regular. As such, I am planning to drop all of the other blogs and just keep the Ruby blog. I need your opinion on whether I - start blogging on all the various topics in one single blog; creating categories should buy separate domains for my other blogs and have separate blogs - but then I don't blog much now-a-days Really can't decide...
Ehm, if all the blogs are PR6 and have been around for a while, you will have a reasonable amount of traffic...and adsense income should be quite good too....
If they are all getting reasonable traffic, I would try to maintain them as separate blogs, since traffic can be monetized. Even if you blog once a week. They can also probably help each other out. I wouldn't mix the content if they are clearly different, since it drives the search engines crazy. I learned that while experimenting with Links.com Rich
Maybe turning it into one BIG blog might be good. But that would only be good if you posted about each topic often. If you only post about Ruby when you also have a Java category, it will be useless having that one big blog.
well option one would be good as tit would be easy for you to manage and you will get more traffic on your blog
