I prefer affiliate programs that generate residual income. Sometimes it takes longer to earn money with these, but the income is more stable.
I think many newbies just want to get rich and have overlook that interest in the market/topic is very important because they will need to spend lots of time to do reading,testing and researching. If they dislike the topic, they would give up easily.
