This is what GoDaddy.com looks like right now:

I don't know why any online business would go down for even a few minutes... it should be down for another hour... However, while it is down, I'd like to say that GoDaddy.com is still the best place to buy/transfer/manage your domain(s)!

Besides that little note... I wonder if Optimus Prime got there yet to take care of the Decepticons  if thats what the issue is with them?! ^_^

This is the 1st time I am seeing this with Godaddy. Anyway, I think there is some kind of attack on them. I can't believe everything about their site is OFF right now. Thank God I took out most of my domains from there....

Well, their website is back up. Everything wasn't down though, only GoDaddy.com. Sites whom they host were up and functioning properly. It was centralized on their domain. I was merely curious by the notion that such a site would choose to completely' close its doors for such a long time for any sort of routine maintenance. It seems like they could have thought of a better way of updating their website. Maybe they're low on staff and couldn't maintain a cloak since everyone had been working on updating/glitches. Maybe someone had recruited a lot of GoDaddy employees away somewhere? Possibly to fight with the Autobots! :D

Heh, silly thread. Any business with a web site will experience issues at some point.

All websites face maintenance modes. There is nothing wrong in it. What will you say about Adsense website, they are on maintenance mode every week.

    : )

And I stopped using Orkut because of its maintenance.
