Decent CPM Network?

Hello. I'm looking for a "goodish" CPM network. The website that I want to put CPM ads is in the technology niche and CTR is a little low, CPC just doesn't work. It has about 100.000 unique visitors each month, mostly from US, UK, Canada, Germany, France. Each month it delivers a total of 1 000 000 ad impressions but because the eCPM is very very low the revenue is horrible.

So I'm looking for a decent CPM network, one that will give at least a 0.4-0.5 eCPM and has decent fill rates for international traffic. I used a lot of ad networks so far: Adsense, bidvertiser, chikita, clicksor, media.net, valueclickmedia, lijit, infolinks but neither one delivered what I want.

I'm currently using OpenX Market through OpenX Ad server and the eCPM is 0.13. I manged to get a 0.93 eCPM (by setting the minimum bid at 0.5$) but the fill-rate is horrible. Clicksor proved to be one of the best paying network I used but the malware in their ads are a no-no for me.

A Net15/30 payment cycle would also be great through PayPal; also, interstitial ads would be great.

From what I know a 0.5$ eCPM isn't much to ask but for me it's hard to get.

    What would you recommend?

    Thank you !

There are plenty of networks that offer better rates the $0.50 eCPM, but if your ads aren't converting into clicks - why would they offer you such good rates?
Advertisers place ads through ad networks onto sites in order to make a profit and have a good return on investment (ROI). Sometimes all these advertisers want is branding - so click through rate (CTR) is not important, but such brand advertisers also prefer to advertise on high quality "safe" websites where they can be sure their ads will not appear alongside anything questionable.

More often advertisers are buying ad space with an aim of getting users to click on their ad and visit their site - either to join a mailing list, or buy a product, or something like that. If your CTR is very low, then to keep their ROI decent they only offer low rates. Before trying to join a better network, it may be worth investigating why your CTR is low. It is often just down to ad placement - in which case it would be worth changing that.

Once you've fixed whatever is keeping your CTR low, then you should take a look at Casale Media, ValueClick, Burst Media, or CPX Interactive or any of these cpm ad networks
And if Paypal is very important to you, then here si a list of ad networks that pay by PayPal

That's perfectly understandable but most of ad networks have no clue what "contextual" really means. If I talk about potatoes and the ad network is serving ads about cars who is to blame about a low CTR or low ROI? That was the case with 99% of networks, even Adsense was serving shi**y ads and I was able to maintain a 1.5-3% CTR, which is pretty good for a website in this niche. I've been "approached" by a dozen ad networks promising substantial revenue but they failed to deliver. I had this kind of conversation a million times and I'm not gonna start doing this again.

Thanks for the list, never heard of Casale Media, gonna give them a try.

Sorry for spelling it out - there are a lot of newbies on the boards who often need some basic pointers.

What's the site you are trying to target anyway? (Feel free to PM me if you don't want to publish it)
I ask as I've generally found AdSense contextual targeting to be pretty good on most text-content sites - it doesn't do well with image sites at all. But the more traditional ad networks like the ones I name above tend to sell ads more simply targeted to the rough content niche of your site that one of their staff felt best described your site or simply run of network ads. If they are way off the mark then that is rather odd and may well be worth raising with the networks directly
