Decent amount of backlinks?

Just wondering what a decent amount of backlinks are, on my two sites, one has 69 and the other 104, they are relatively new and this will be their first PR update. The sites they are backlinked on are are pretty much PR5 or PR6, so my question is: Does anyone have any idea what I might end up with for a PR? I know this is probably unanswerable, and fi you could answer it correctly you wouldn't be around here making posts, but just looking for some rough estimates, if they are even possible. Also, if you could tell me how many backlinks you have, then i can have an idea of what to aim for for the next update.

I'd say 3 best but relevancy still holds more water than PR ever will.

 

Yeah thats the thing I have been shopping around to buy some links but I can't narrow my site down really, it is a forum community, and it can touch on any subject going, its basically a forum where you can go to complain, rant, get things off your chest, debate, argue, or just tell someone off should you feel the need. Any suggestions as to what type of sites I should be trying to get linked on? I tired the related search in google, but nothing comes up.

 

you can try personal blogs, who just rant about random stuff. i see them a lot in people sig links around here. As far as your PR is concerned, i'd say 2-3 as long as the sites and content are legit.

 

I would say the content is pretty legit. I don't know where they have all come form but I have had a pretty good crowd so far. Currently up to 33 members (including 5 I made myself tog et thigns started) and 10 of them are daily visitors and posts. Since Friday I have been averaging about 30 posts a day and am now over 300, so people are finding it somehow

3 PR7 links and some other good naturals gets you a PR6. There was a chart that had an average of how many you all need on seochat back some time ago.

Whether you believe it or not is one thing. It has proved to be right for me so far.

2000 is a decent amount depending on the number of keywords that you are targeting.
